Month in Rewind : November 2016
“Work work work work work work!” No that is not me singing Rihanna’s song. That was what November has been all about. When November started on a holiday I was happy! But my happiness was short lived. For almost every working day of November, almost 12 hours a day have been spent in office. And how I hate that! Reasons? Working for long hours definitely makes you tired. And after a long tiring day when I come back to my room, there is hardly any food left. Too tired to cook or no enough ingredients or sometimes even no gas to cook! And yeah too tired to even go out and eat. That my dear friend is not the end of my problems. Laundry piles up, room looks untidy but I struggle to find time to do it! And most importantly I don’t find the time to do the things that I really want to do and I love to do. If the irritation from the day gone by is not enough, the feeling of not being able to do what you love to just kills me! How I crave for weekends! But now I feel there is so much to do on weekends too.
So November was mostly about that! Thanks to which I hardly read any books, barely managed to post on my blog. I feel really sad. And I was so irritated sometimes that I either almost cried or there were times when I was really angry! The occasional posts, the very minimal reading did help me a little. I managed to read 2 books and I enjoyed both of them. The first one was “The devotion of Suspect X” which I really liked a lot due to its plot and also its pace. “Chocolat” was another book that I read and this one transports you to a world full of chocolates and makes you crave for them. I loved the narration, the simplicity but yes I felt that it was a little slow. With that I’ve completed 27 books out of the 30 that I’d targeted to read during 2016. Will I be able to achieve my target? I just don’t know!
And yes, between all these weekdays of being busy, weekends were busy too. But there were things that I enjoyed doing during weekends. I recorded me singing a song and it felt good. I hope I can do it more often. One of the weekends, I even went to represent my company in an inter corporate Volleyball tournament. We didn’t win it but we did have our share of fun and yes, it always feels good to play a sport. I also went shopping for my Christmas dress 😀
2016 has gone by really fast. And I hope to make the best of this last month of 2016. December is one of my favourite months. Yes, it is because of Christmas. December hope you treat me well. How was November for you? Let me know in the comments below.

Aww I hope December will be fun for you. I know how tired you’d be after 12 hours of work. Been there. I did wonder why there weren’t much posts from you. Now I see. And 27 books?! That is wow! I have barely read 5 or 6! I am sure you can finish the last 3 books. 🙂 Happy December!
