How I wish!

Copyright: Kelly Sands

As I look at the dark clouds in the sky, I feel the pain in
my heart. Life didn’t move on as you said it would. All those beautiful
memories that we made together come to my mind. Why did it have to end that
way? As I think more about you, tears well up in my eyes. I cannot cry as I
cannot let anyone know about it. The clouds bring rain and the rain washes the
earth and brings life into it. How I wish I could just cry and wash away that
pain and start life anew!

I hope Reem, that this is fiction. The beauty of clouds is that no matter how dark they are, they move on. HUGS <3

  4. Its easier said than done.
To let go is tough, to convince yourself to move on is even tougher.
    Well written.

  8. Unfortunately, I know this feel all too well. I have a penchant for falling for the wrong guy, which is why I no longer play the game. I hope you find solace.

Even though tears don't make "things" better they often make the person feel a tad bit better – release of tension and all that.

i felt your character's pain and perhaps the clouds will soon dissipate and a new sunny life will begin. well told story.

Reema, My comment seems to have disappeared. It went somewhat as follows: Welcome to Friday Fictioneers! Sad but well-written story. Crying does help, but then we have to try and put sad things in the past and move on even though it's hard. Well done. : ) —Susan
