Music of the heart #WednesdayVerses

You choose to be happy,

But often the world can’t see you that way.

So it tries to bring you down,

And you begin to drift away.

There will be people,

Who would stop you from dreaming big.

Who would keep reminding you,

That you aren’t good enough.

But don’t let that stop you,

For you got to listen to your heart.

And let your dreams take you ahead,

Chasing each goal with passion.

So walk with the a spring in your step,

Sing out loud your song.

Don’t let the noise of the world,

Silence the music within.

Loved your beautiful poem, Reema. Music draws me to it a lot of the time. I totally agree that we must never ever silence the music within.
I loved the prompt so much that I was inspired to join you and Vinay this week. Couldn’t find the linky, so please let me know how and where I could link up.

Lovely poem and image! Yes, always dance to your own beat and ignore everybody else. There’s too much negativity in the world. 🙂
