#WednesdayVerses: Way

I found myself lost,

In a world full of expectations.

There was someone,

That the world wanted me to be,

But no matter how hard I tried,

I couldn’t fit in,

Because it just wasn’t me.

For I found solace,

In doing things my own way.

I had to lose myself,

In the chaos of the world,

To find myself.

I chose to be me,

I picked my own way,

But for the world,

I was the one who went away.
