A day without you,

Seems to last forever.

For without you,

Time crawls ever so slowly.

You make my life so much better,

For in every moment,

With you I find something special.

You add memories,

To every little moment.

Time goes by,

In the blink of an eye,

When you are with me.

I wish time could stand still,

And I could freeze this moment,

With you, here and now.

I’m participating in the A to Z Challenge and the National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo). I’m trying to weave poems around unusual words or words from other languages that are just beautiful.
