I live life in my own way,

A life lived by my own rules.

I’m not afraid,

Of chasing my dreams.

I’m not scared,

Of the troubles that come my way.

I live in a world of my dreams,

Not caring about,

What the world has to say.

I can’t live by things,

That I do not believe in,

I’m what I am,

And I can be,

Who I want to be.

For the day I stop,

Chasing my dreams,

Is the day that will be,

The end of me.

Nefelibata : Day dreamer; One who walks in the cloud of their own imagination or dreams; Unconventional , unorthodox person

Language : Portuguese

I’m participating in the A to Z Challenge and the National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo) . I’m trying to weave poems around unusual words or words from other languages that are just beautiful.

Hey, this word perfectly fits my personality! I am a day dreamer–have been since childhood–and can think of numerous things that I would love to do because I believe in them!
