Forgive yourself
Why carry that burden,
With you always?
Why wouldn't you let,
Yourself heal?
Would it be so hard,
To let go?
Why hurt yourself,
When you have always known,
That it wasn't your fault,
That you couldn't change what happened?
Why is it so hard,
To forgive yourself,
When you've been forgiving,
Others who have hurt you?
