#WednesdayVerses :Right or Wrong
I’m forever caught in a struggle,
Since I began my search for meaning.
For between right and wrong I juggle,
With emotions overwhelming.
Things could be either right or wrong,
That’s what I was told.
But I’ve realized, that was not right but all wrong,
For the line in between has become too old.
What do you make of it,
When it feels right but is supposed to be wrong?
For while through memories of it I sift,
It feels right all along.
And what if something right feels wrong,
Would you just stay or would you fight?
Would you be strong,
Or just accept it to be right?
I don’t know what hurts me the most,
The right that feels wrong,
Or the wrong that feels right,
The struggle seems to be long!
As a part of our resolution to write more poetry in 2018, Vinay and I have started this weekly prompt which we’ve decided to call Wednesday Verses. Each Wednesday, we’ll be writing a poem based on the prompt of the week, and sharing a linky. We invite you all to join us with your own poems on the prompt. Write on your blogs, and link up with #WednesdayVerses. Please add your post links to the linky only if you have written for the prompt. We are happy to have you rhyme with us.
I am back to my blog after a break. I hope to be able to write more in the coming days. For now, here is Prompt #30 “Right or Wrong”.
