#WednesdayVerses : Be brave, be strong
In difficult times,
When things don’t seem alright.
In the days,
When life becomes a never-ending fight.
Be brave, be strong!
There are struggles,
That make you lose hope.
There are losses,
That you can’t seem to cope.
But, be brave, be strong!
There are moments,
When you’ve lost it all.
There are torments,
That you cannot stall.
Yet, be brave, be strong!
At times when life seems hard,
When nothing seems to be under control.
In situations where you feel,
Like you are drawn into a black-hole.
Be brave, be strong!
Though there seems to be no hope,
You got to hold to life dear.
You have to find your strength,
And fight each fear,
And be brave, be strong!
As a part of our resolution to write more poetry in 2018, Vinay and I have started this weekly prompt which we’ve decided to call Wednesday Verses. Each Wednesday, we’ll be writing a poem based on the prompt of the week, and sharing a linky. We invite you all to join us with your own poems on the prompt. Write on your blogs, and link up with #WednesdayVerses. Please add your post links to the linky only if you have written for the prompt. We are happy to have you rhyme with us. Prompt #26 is “Brave”.
This poem works wonderfully like a prayer to weather all storms holding and lift us out of the abyss.
I’m glad you thought so! Thank you 🙂
Beautiful answer to the prompt! Loved the rhymes 🙂
Thank you Soumya 🙂
So much good advice here.
Thank you 🙂
Wonderful poem. Especially after Kerala Floods, I know there are many people who lost all.
Thank you so much! The Kerala floods was one of the reasons for writing this.
Have the courage to overcome difficult times. Nicely depicted.
I really wish I could but I am horrible at any form of poetry (even free form!)
This one is lovely and honestly, something i needed right now.
Well, I know that you can write something really beautiful! No pressure. But I’m waiting for the day when you can join in.
And I’m glad that this poem resonated with you Doc. Thanks for dropping by 🙂
Nicely done with the prompt and the message. It’s important to be brave and have strength even in times of strife
Thank you Sanch! 🙂
Beautifully depicted about how one has to brave during difficult times.
