Every time I hear the sound of a scooter passing by, it evokes beautiful memories. I still run to the door like I used to. I still live with hope. I still can’t believe that you left this world, Dad. Call it wishful thinking, but I still wait for you. I know that you’ll come.

This is so poignant.
It's difficult to let go. Some pain leaves deep, indelible impressions.

awww this is so heartbreaking. I used to run to the gate on hearing dad's scooter.
Those memories of childhood, right?
It's true that one can never claim to understand the pain that someone else goes through.
Much love and hugs, dear. Take care 🙂
