#AtoZChallenge : To Mr. Right

Dear Mr. Right,
“It is about time”, everyone says. But I don’t. Just because
I am a twenty something year old does not mean it is time to start looking for
you. People around me say you must be this and that. Does anyone ever ask me
what I want in my Mr. Right? Nope, not really. So I thought I could make use of
this opportunity just to let you know.
I have no clue who you are and where you and when are you
going to come into my life. Oh wait, I don’t even if you exist or if you will
ever come into my life. I’m not the kind of girl who keeps waiting for a prince
on a white horse. Yes I’ve read a lot of love stories but my take away from the
love stories is not about the fancy dates or about the specifications of being
tall, dark and handsome. My take away from the love stories that I’ve read is
about being for each other no matter. Yes, if you ever were to come to me
saying that you were right for me; remember that you got to be with me through
thick and thin. I’ve seen my parents. Mom was taking care of dad till his last
breath and Dad even on his death bed was concerned about Mom. When I’ve seen
such love, I expect no less.
And I am letting you know, I am not perfect. Wait, no one
really is. But if you think that you are right for me, you have to accept me
the way I am and I promise to accept you the way you are. A little compromise
here and there will always be there, but respecting the other person is a must.
And yes I will always have my own gang of friends both guys and girls and I
would love to spend time with them too. You have to give me my freedom and
trust me too. There are things that I am passionate about which you may or may
not be interested in. If interested I will always pull you along, but if not
please support me. I will support you too.
“At your absolute best, you still
won’t be good enough for the wrong person. At your worst, you’ll still be worth
it to the right person.”
-Steve Maraboli
I may not be the best but I will try
to be at my personal best always. And yes the world may say it is time, but I
don’t think it is. I’ve just got my wings, so let me fly. Or wait, it is not in
my hands to decide when you will enter my life. In that case, if you are coming
soon, stand by me when I want to fulfill my dreams. That is all I ask.
I don’t know if you are reading this
or if you will ever read this. But I just thought of writing my heart out. So I
just hope you are happy wherever you are if you really exist.
I’m taking up the #AtoZChallenge and my theme is “A letter for a letter”. So make sure you read
all the letters from A to Z.

I remember reading somewhere that Mr. Right is usually two or eight men! LOL 😀
Jokes aside, may you meet your Mr Right who is perfect for you in every way! Cheers!

  2. Great letter. Now, if he doesn't get scared off by songs like "Bitch" by Meredith Brooks that describes female mood swings perfectly and he doesn't run away after seeing you at your absolute worst then he's definitely Mr Right. Oh, all the frogs that have to be kissed who run away screaming until you find brave Mr Right… such an adventure ;-)Good luck with the rest of the AtoZchallenge.

  3. "I've just got my wings, so let me fly." Such a beautiful line!
Maybe you will find Mr. Right on one of your flights? 😉

Oh he does exist! Mr. Right will always come in at the right time. And it does not happen according to your age.

But I've always believed in one thing. If you are a good person, you will get a great person. And I'm sure you will too!

Aw I hope he is reading this somewhere. Meaningful relationships are based on mutual respect rather than the TDH cliché. I hope you do find yours.
