A new beginning

She stood by the window staring at the dark clouds in the
sky. She didn’t know how the time had passed by. She couldn’t accept that what
had happened that day was true. The memories kept haunting her making her feel it
wasn’t real. The scars were there for her to see. They reminded her of him;
they were the wounds that he had inflicted on her. It was a nightmare. Now that he was gone, she
wasn’t sure to cry or not. She wiped away the lone tear; of her struggle. It
was time now for a new beginning.
