Santa grants the wish

Photo copyright: Janet Webb
“Mom, why doesn’t it snow here? And why doesn’t Santa visit
us?”
“Baby, it doesn’t snow here because we stay far away from
where it snows. And Santa does come here. You just have to be a good girl.”
“But I still want to see snowfall”
“You will baby. Work hard, be a good girl. Santa will grant
you that wish.”
She remembered this conversation as she stood on her balcony
watching the snowfall, her first as she was now living abroad. Santa had indeed
granted her wish and her Santa was her mom because of whom it was possible.
