A dose of positivity #WednesdayVerses

There are days when I smile,
When the rays of the sunlight up my face just right,
When my windswept hair just looks right,
Like I have no worries, no cares.
And then there are days,
When nothing seems okay.
When the scorching heat of the sun,
Leaves me burned!
I wish I could smile through the worst of days,
I wish my troubles I could embrace.
Sometimes though when nothing seems right,
I find my inner voice telling me, I’m going to make it alright!
I’m my own strength and inspiration,
Is what I tell myself each day.
All I need is that dose of positivity,
And with that, I can conquer all my fears.

Welcome to #WednesdayVerses . Vinay and I offer you this word prompt each Wednesday to inspire in you a poem. If it does, do write it as a post on your blog and come link up with us. The linky is open from now till next Tuesday night! Please add your post to the link only if it is a post written for #WednesdayVerses. Please do participate.
A dose of positivity is a must. Hence prompt for this week is “Postive”
You can read all the poems that I’ve written for Wednesday Verses here :
A lovely verse… and yes, sometimes we have to be our own inspiration for joy in dark times.
Thank you Doc.
Lovely verse, and lovelier message, Reema. 🙂
Thank you Shantala .
More power to you, Reema. May you conquer it all.
Thank you Soumya.
Happens with all of us. Some days are wonderful and the others seem so gloomy. I guess at the end of the day, we have only ourselves to turn to for strength.
That is so true. All we have is ourselves to turn to.
Life is afterall a beautiful blend of good and bad days. Yes, sometimes we all need to listen to our inner voice. It has all the right words to make us feel better.
That is so true.
I know the aim of the prompt was to write something positive but I chose a different tact. I like your positive message though. By the way, the linky isn’t working on your website so not sure how to add mine and am adding it in the comments for now.

I loved your take on the prompt. Seems the linky doesn’t display properly here. I’ll try fixing it. You can click on view linkup and add the linky. I’ve added it for you already.
