#WednesdayVerses : Jigsaw of life

I journeyed through life,
With bits and pieces,
Of memories scattered,
And dreams often shattered.
I kept wandering,
On roads unknown,
Picking up whatever I could,
Tagging it as experience.
I didn’t where I was going,
But the road often seemed,
Like one that wasn’t,
Leading me anywhere.
I searched for answers,
To the many questions,
Of my existence and journey,
Wondering where it was taking me,
Asking myself if it was worth it all.
But I kept going,
Trying to treasure and savour,
Every moment as it came.
And now when all the pieces of the jigsaw,
Fall in place,
I realize that I’d forgotten,
To see the complete picture.
Now when I see it all together,
I realize that life,
Has been a blessing all along.

Life is indeed a jigsaw; if we sit down to look at all our pieces after say 20,30,40 years – we would be able to piece together the narrative of our journey! Powerfully expressed Reema
