Unfinished

Picture copyright: Douglas M Macllroy
He looked at the piece of art lying on the table, unfinished
as always. She had a passion for art and would end up making beautiful things
out of waste. She would make things in memory of her special occasions. The
piece that he was looking at was made after he had proposed to her on the
beach. She had said β€œYes” even before he could finish popping the question. He
was the happiest man that day. Though she always left her art unfinished, he
couldn’t understand why her life was cut short and all their dreams together left
unfinished!

Reema, this may have only been 100 words but it brought up multiple emotions. My heart swelled when she said yes before he even finished proposing. Then it sank when I read her life was cut short. Well done!

Interesting story. The problem with 100 word stories is that we're always left wanting more! πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing.
