The reason I write

Thoughts sweep through my mind,
An outlet for those I seek to find.
Memories both happy and sad,
Are best felt when they are shared.
I set up stories in a world of my own,
With each character I create, I seem to have grown.
And what better way can there be,
Than to set the words free?
I write because it puts me at ease,
And then my troubles seem to cease.
The best therapy to all my woes is writing,
‘Cause there has been no other solution more exciting!

I agree. That's why I write too. Nothing as therapeutic as words! 🙂
