The door to the past

Copyright: Roger Bultot
It hurt me. The more I told myself not to think about the
past the more I seemed to think about it. But there was no use going back to
the things that hurt me right? When I still had a life to live to the fullest
it made no sense for me to hurt myself over things that couldn’t be changed.
What had happened had happened. So I decided to put away all that reminded me
of the past behind a door and lock it. Occasionally my mind does wander near
the door, but I will never open it.
