The secret hideout

secret hideout

I grabbed the things that I thought I would need and got into the car. I’d no destination in mind but I knew that I had to go away from the madness of the city. I needed peace to write my book. The mad rush of my daily routine didn’t let me concentrate on what I wanted to do. How wonderful it was during my childhood when I could go into that old barn at grandma’s place which was my not so secret hideout! Suddenly I knew where to go. This time it was going to be my secret hideout.

Hmm I wish I had a secret hideout. REminds me of all the Enid Blytons’s Secret Seven and Famous Five novels I read in hoards during school.

Aww you have a secret hideout? I have always wanted one, I guess all of us bookworms have wanted one. Not just to write but to cosy up in a corner and read. 🙂

Can I have a hideout too? Far from the madding world! I have to learn this 100 word fiction, its not so easy to pack a punch in just 100 words. You rock it Reema!

It’s true, sometimes we do feel like escaping the reality. I hope she finds a good secret place 🙂

  7. You have no idea how much I would give for one such place right about now! Don’t you sometimes wish you had such a place in real life to just escape at least for awhile from it all?

I so wish I had a place like this I could escape to from time to time. It’s so needed sometimes, to be able to just escape the hustle-bustle of the city.

You are so good in writing it all in 100 words and you make such a good and creative use of the prompts too. I never had a secret hideout but now I wish for one with so much chaos all around us. 🙂
