The secret hideout
I grabbed the things that I thought I would need and got into the car. I’d no destination in mind but I knew that I had to go away from the madness of the city. I needed peace to write my book. The mad rush of my daily routine didn’t let me concentrate on what I wanted to do. How wonderful it was during my childhood when I could go into that old barn at grandma’s place which was my not so secret hideout! Suddenly I knew where to go. This time it was going to be my secret hideout.

Hmm I wish I had a secret hideout. REminds me of all the Enid Blytons’s Secret Seven and Famous Five novels I read in hoards during school.
All of us wish for one such place isn’t it?
Now thats interesting..even I was reminded of secret seven and famous five wile reading this.
Aww you have a secret hideout? I have always wanted one, I guess all of us bookworms have wanted one. Not just to write but to cosy up in a corner and read. 🙂
I wish I had one Ranjini! That is the dream 🙂
I can completely agree with this, is I could get away to a quiet secret hideaway to just write! Nice take 🙂
Thank you Iain 🙂
Can I have a hideout too? Far from the madding world! I have to learn this 100 word fiction, its not so easy to pack a punch in just 100 words. You rock it Reema!
We all wish we had one, don’t we? Thank you Kala 🙂
It’s true, sometimes we do feel like escaping the reality. I hope she finds a good secret place 🙂
Hopefully she will 😀
You have no idea how much I would give for one such place right about now! Don’t you sometimes wish you had such a place in real life to just escape at least for awhile from it all?

Yes, I always dream of such a place! How I wish I could have such a place!
Interesting. Many possibilities of that not so secret hide out place.
Yes, possibilities are a plenty! But picking the perfect one would be difficult I feel.
An honest story in 100 words. How all of us wish for a secret hideout.
It is every writer/reader’s dream, isn’t it?
I so wish I had a place like this I could escape to from time to time. It’s so needed sometimes, to be able to just escape the hustle-bustle of the city.
You are so good in writing it all in 100 words and you make such a good and creative use of the prompts too. I never had a secret hideout but now I wish for one with so much chaos all around us. 🙂
Me too! Wish I had some place like this.
Secret hideout sounds so brilliant. I really love the way you match up your story to the pic so well Reems
Thank you Shalini 🙂
Wonderful! All of us writer folk want a place like that!
Yes! We all wish for it 🙂
Loved the sweet twist to the tale 🙂

Glad the place still exist to go, for oft childhood joys and places cease to exist. Enjoy your hideout
I’m still in the search of one. Wish I had one 😀
