Joie de vivre #AtoZchallenge #NaPoWriMo

All of us carry,
A bagful of sorrows,
And a bagful of joys.
But we go through life,
Like we are living in vain.
We say life is being unfair,
And we call ourselves,
The only victims,
Of life’s injustice.
We fail to see,
The good things,
That come our way.
Because we are stuck,
In that moment in past,
Or even in the future of pain.
Why do we forget,
That this one life,
Is all we have.
Why can’t we live each moment,
Savouring its joys,
And learning from pain.
Live life looking at the bright side,
For a change.
Appreciate life,
For all things good.
Be grateful,
That you could,
Make it through the bad.
Live life like it is a grand celebration,
Of who you are.
Live joyfully,
Enjoying each moment as it comes.
Live life with a smile on your face,
Embrace it like it is someone you love.
Because love life,
And it will love you back.

I’m participating in the A to Z Challenge and the National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo) . I’m trying to weave poems around unusual words or words from other languages that are just beautiful.
What a lovely poem!

Now that’s one phrase I’ve heard before 😛
Beautiful message through your poem, Reema!
Lovely sentiment and lovely poem!
LIVE IN THE MOMENT, and LOVE LIFE THE WAY IT IS.
These are two of my favourite phrases in life!
Lovely poem, Reema!
I love this phrase and use it often. It does sound better in French. Very meaningful lines too, Reema, with a wonderful message.
Now, this is such a magical phrase and one I use way too often 🙂
