I had a dream

With hope in my eyes,

I had a dream.

I worked towards making it real,

With passion, I knew it would.

But life takes its own course,

And somewhere along the way,

I was lost in a maze,

And I didn’t know where I was going.

Life now feels different,

It doesn’t feel the way I thought it would.

I still have my many dreams,

But I don’t know how to make them true.

While doing things that,

I am supposed to do,

My heart yearns for freedom,

For doing what I want to do.

I feel lost in the ways of this world,

And I struggle hard to find myself.

I don’t know if I’ll make it real,

But, I still have a dream!
