Heart versus mind

I was confused,
To follow my dreams or others.
The heart was against the mind.
Though difficult, I’d to choose,
The heart always won against the mind.
This poem is a Tanka. It is a Japanese poem of five lines, the first and third composed of five syllables and the other seven.(5-7-5-7-7)

    What lovely lines. Aren't we all a wonderful curious creatures under the sun. A heart with a mind of its own and a mind which follows it's heart.
