The Rendezvous

I watched the early morning rays of the sun fall on the cafe
as I waited for her. I was meeting her for breakfast as this was the time of
the day that she liked the most- morning. When I knew that she was back in
town, I couldn’t be happier. It was years since I last met her. Though the
memories of those years long gone were now fugacious, her memories were ever so
fresh. The opening of the door broke my reverie. She smiled. It was as if time
stood still. This time I wasn’t letting her go.

Wow, cool. Beautifully written and very concise. Don't know if I can do that but you did it wonderfully. Also you introduced me to a new word: fugacious! I will try using it… soon.
Thank you Alice! 🙂
A new vocabulary word for me! Hoping the meeting was everything he thought it would be. Well done.
Thank you Alana 🙂
Hey!
A brilliant creation in a hundred words. 🙂
Thank you Ramya 🙂
I had to look up the word fugacious so learned something new today. A sweet story of second chances.
I am glad Suzy! Thank you 🙂
