A rainy day
It’s a rainy day,
A lot of thoughts in my mind weigh,
There are things I want to say,
And all sad thoughts I want the rain to wash away.
I don’t have many things to do,
So I look out and enjoy the view.
The pitter patter of the rain,
Drives away all my pain.
The tiny droplets fall,
Make me forget all.
I don’t know how time has passed,
I’m sure it’s gone by pretty fast.
Though it’s all dark and gray,
“There is always a silver lining”, I say as I go back to bed on a rainy day.
This poem is written for Day 26 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge.
