Be Yourself!

At times when you feel you’re all alone,
At times when you feel you’re worthy of nothing,
At times when feel that you’re not good,
At times when you wonder what others think of you,
At times when you feel it’s better to be quite,
At times when you feel it’s better to walk in others path,
Wake up, my friend,
Sit back and listen,
You are unique,
You are special,
There is none like you,
There is none worthy of being you.
What joy would it be,
If things were all the same?
Life then would be mundane.
So come out of the shadows,
And let your light shine,
Be not a copy,
But the original.
If there’s something in which you’re the best,
In which none can ever be better,
It’s being yourself, being honest.
It’s time to bring out the gem within you,
It’s time, just to be you!
